Congratulations to players who were selected in the spring to join a competitive team!
You DO NOT need to pre-register with the WEHL.
Players trying out for a competitive team in the fall:
A player who intends to tryout for District B competitive hockey in the fall (i.e. Golden Knights), must not register with the WEHL at this time. Only register with the WEHL if you are 100% joining our house league program.
If you register for WEHL house league hockey now and are accepted into District B competitive in the fall, you will be charged an administration fee for cancelling your WEHL house league registration per our Refunds and Rebates policy.
Players who made a competitive team this spring:
If a player was successful in spring tryouts has been selected to join a competitive in the fall (i.e. Ottawa Jr 67s or Ottawa Sting), congratulations! You do not need to pre-register with the WEHL.
Transferring into the WEHL from Another League:
As a rule, the WEHL does not accept or encourage transfers to or from the league except in certain circumstances as outlined on our Transfers page.

Notes:
- * Steps 1 & 2 are one-time processes, which will not need to be repeated in future years for the same child.
- ** Step 5 (Respect in Sport -- Parent) is a one-time course per household. As long as one parent completed the course, including previously for another child, it does not need to be repeated. But, each player's individual account must be correctly linked to the Hockey Canada account of the parent who holds the certification.
Financial Assistance
